Our City Podcasts

According to Wikipedia, podcasting is defined as

"a series of audio or video digital media files which are distributed over the Internet by syndicated download, through Web feeds, to portable media players and personal computers. Though the same content may also be made available by direct download or streaming, a podcast is distinguished from most other digital media formats by its ability to be syndicated, subscribed to, and downloaded automatically when new content is added. "

For this podcasting experience we be utilizing a variety of resources which can all be found from this website. Podcasting is free & can be done from any computer with a few simple software programs. The software program we will be using are listed below. I've posted links to download the software (if needed) and a brief description of what the software is used for.

Audacity Logo Audacity® is free, open source software for recording and editing sounds.
